Begin your journey at 9:15 a.m. from central Paris and travel through the countryside to your first stop: the Château de Fontainebleau.
After a 1 hour and 15 minute drive, arrive in the heart of the Fontainebleau forest and step inside the only royal and imperial residence to have been continuously inhabited for seven centuries. Dating back to the 12th century, the château was home to French rulers from Francis I to Napoleon III. With your visioguide, explore its richly furnished rooms, exceptional collections, and iconic features such as Napoleon I’s throne and the famous horseshoe‑shaped staircase.
