Overview

Fans of the hit TV soap can join the Emmerdale Tour of Classic Locations. This guided coach tour is a great way to see vintage filming locations and enjoy the beauty of rural Yorkshire.

The current production of Emmerdale is filmed on a closed set at Harewood House north of Leeds. But the show’s original home at Esholt is still a mecca for fans of the show. Enjoy a day out visiting classic Emmerdale locations on this guided coach tour.

What you will see on tour
When you arrive at the meeting point in central Leeds you will be taken on a fully guided coach tour. The tour goes past the ITV studios where the interior scenes are filmed and out to other sites from the show. Locations include Home Farm which has not been built at the Harewood site and Emmerdale Farm. A stop at the town used as ‘Hotten’ since 1972 is part of the itinerary. Visitors can marvel at the beauty of the rural Yorkshire locations visited as you journey from one location to another on the tour.

You will be taken to the village of Esholt which was the former village set from 1976 until 1997. Explore the beauty of this picturesque farming village as part of a 45 minute guided walk. You will also have a chance to enjoy a drink at The Woolpack before you board the coach to head back to central Leeds.
