Our festive Light Trail returns to illuminate the castle and its grounds, bigger and better than ever before, with impressive new installations and thousands of shimmering lights spread across the iconic castle grounds.
As dusk arrives, immerse yourself in breathtaking surroundings lit up with larger-than-life illuminations. Wander the beautiful gardens with twinkling trees and projections that light up the sky. Whatever your age, our castle Light Trail is sure to bring the real magic of Christmas to life.

Know before you go
Your ticket is valid for daytime entry to the castle, grounds and gardens. It does not include entrance to secondary attractions (such as The Castle Dungeon, Stories with Santa, Light Trail, or Ice Skating) or parking.
No person under the age of 16 will be admitted to the Castle unless they are accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over and such person or persons whilst on site must retain under the control or supervision of an adult at all times.
